How important is branding within a company?
Branding is a consistent act of you explaining who you are and why you do what you do. If you don’t have that core then all of your marketing efforts will be ineffective. Branding is super important because you need to be able to answer the who and the why immediately.
How do you think branding and political spending go hand-in-hand and how do you see this impacting your role in advertising.
Political candidates need to embody something people can get behind. Every president we have had, whether you support them or not, has represented an idea that was bigger than them. You are not pro-Trump or pro-Obama, you are pro-idea. A good candidate encompasses an idea bigger than themselves and if you like that idea you go along with it.
