How did ASMM Digital get started?
I started when Facebook came out, I had a blog about running and the mental side of running and it became pretty famous, like internationally known. So I started a podcast and I started a YouTube channel. Then I started getting people who called and said wait a second, you’ve done all of that for yourself and you’ve got this big following on Twitter. How do we do it? I ended up going to work in a running shoe store and I helped them with their digital marketing, which led to me starting my own business.
What makes ASMM Digital unique?
We’re a digital marketing agency and we do all the social media for our clients which is you know it’s not an easy job because we become them online. Even though what we’re doing is digital marketing for our clients, we go a step beyond that. We give advice on everything to do with their business. We’re always saying, hey what do you think about collaborating with this other business and putting yourself out there that way? Or maybe we could do an event based around this new product you’ve got. We go a lot further with our customers.
Can you share with us a recent success story that our audience might find interesting?
I was so nervous about my clients if they went out of business from COVID I started a podcast that we thought would be this small little thing that we do and we did it everyday for two weeks. But then we got calls around the world from people wanting to be on. We were trying so hard to get our clients; we had other people interested in getting their business in front of people. It really went a long way various things for our business.
