What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in your business?

Everything that comes with actually creating a business. I’ve always been a marketer, but creating a business is a whole different animal in and of itself, everything that comes along with creating a viable business.


What makes your company unique?

I truly understand marketing. I was a marketer way before I was a web designer or digital marketer. You have a lot of talent out there that became very good at using the tools or platforms for online marketing but lack a lot in the marketing aspect, in having a strategy or the objective of what a business is achieving. A lot of web developers can build a website but does it really get across the message of the brand? I also understood how small business owners want to be able to incorporate a lot. They hear about all the great things you can do with online marketing but don’t know how to start or what would matter the most. So we created a way to systematically deliver our services to them alongside their business growth.


What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?

To be very organized and systemized. With different clients and different digital marketing life cycles, you’re constantly jumping from task to task that differs completely. So staying organized is one of the biggest things for a digital marketing agency to be able to scale.


The biggest change in marketing that I see coming in the next 5 years is?

Continued fragmentation and a LOT of noise in the marketplace. There are so many companies vying for people’s attention, you really have to speak to your audience to cut through the noise.


How did you get started?

I actually came from the music industry. I worked with major artists in the industry rolling out their marketing campaigns for their albums and then I segued into just doing digital marketing and focusing on business clients as opposed to music entertainment clients.
