How did you get started?
I graduated from school in 2008 when the economy tanked. I had an internship with the Secret Service prior, but then state, local, federal agencies froze hiring, I was applying and applying for months, couldn’t find anything. Then an opportunity presented itself. Literally somebody said, “Come out to my car. I want to give you something in my trunk.” It was a packet about search engine optimization, and they said “read up on this a little bit more, read this packet, go online for a month or two, and then you can start doing that for my business.” That was basically 12 years ago.
