My children inspire me because of their energy and innocence. I feel their energy and it amps me up to do what i do. I love their innocence and it helps me become a more honest transparent marketer.

Welcome back to BluHorn TV. I’m Mike White. Joining us today is Ricardo Rohaidy from RickyRoheidi.com. Welcome to the program.

Hey Mike. Thanks for having me.

 

Mike White

Thank you. So Arturo and I wanted to talk to you about you and you being a digital champion. So tell us a little bit about your firm and what you guys do.

Yeah no problem. So rickyroheidi.com is an affiliate marketing program management agency. So we help product owners and service providers generate promotions through third party influencers, third party websites, third party e-mail lists so essentially creating an affiliate marketing program from scratch for all brands and services. I would create the terms and conditions, we find the right publishers for their products and services, we find the right influencers for their products or services and we work out a permission plan for these influencers. We set up tracking for companies so you can check out see how much traffic is coming from these influencers in these third party Web sites. We monitor campaign activity. We optimize the campaigns to get the most sales and leads out of these third party affiliates. And then we you know we we have to deal with the whole relationship with affiliate marketing.

What does it mean to be an influencer nowadays.

So we consider anybody who is an influencer or who has any type of web presence any type of readership on their blog. Any decent following on social media. It shows that their consumers and their readership is engaged. So a lot of comments, a lot of interaction with the readers. Anybody you know anybody could be an influencer with you know a a thousand followers, fifteen hundred followers, all the way up till you know millions of followers. It just depends how how engaged your audience is and what one of the things that we always look for is a really engaged audience for it for influencers.

Now we’re looking at a trend that micro influencers like coming up. Now businesses are going and targeting micro influencers instead of big accounts. Is that something that you’re seeing out of your business too?

 

Speaker 2

Yeah we absolutely worked with a ton of micro influencers. Again you’re not going to get the same amount of volume but you are going to get a more loyal brand following. It’s going to take a little bit longer to get these consumers to convert, but once these consumers do convert they are lifelong consumers. The lifetime value of the consumer seems to be a little bit longer than some of the bigger influencers we work with. So it’s definitely a space that we’ve been pushing the businesses that we’ve worked a little bit more into. I guess it’s just harder to find the volume, but but the quality in the long term is a lot better. right.

How do we engage with you?

The set up process is very simple. I would take a preliminary interview with the business to see if our goals and our visions align. There are certain you know there are certain brands and certain types of verticals that I prefer to work with. So that would be step one. Step two, if we feel like we’re the right fit for one another we would start off creating your three month plan. Essentially, we would start off with your terms and conditions. The terms and conditions will dictate how these affiliates can send traffic to your pages or to your products. The terms and conditions would dictate the pay out that you’re going to pay whether you’re going to pay per click, per lead, per sale you know a set cost for sale or a percentage cost for sale. Once we have the terms and conditions set and ready to go then we start the affiliate discovery or affiliate recruitment. We would find influencers. If its for a roofing contractor, we would find influencers talking about you can do home improvement and how you can improve your home and stuff like that. Once we finally reached out to these influencers and e mailers and bloggers then we try and get them on board with the program. Once we have them on board with the program we set up the tracking we make sure everything is tracked from an impression based click based lead basis Sale base from the affiliate. So everything is 100 percent fully transparent for the brand fully transparent for the affiliate. And we start sending traffic to the brand to the landing page the product. And once we start getting sales once we start getting leads then we optimize the campaign and make sure we’re getting good quality leads. Make sure that the sales are coming in you know the lifetime value is there on sale. That’s not just a one and done make sure that there are no charge backs me sure nothing no nothing fraudulent is going on with the traffic. And then that is just essentially cultivating their relationship with the affiliate the blogger e-mail where and seeing just how we can do much more with these affiliates.

The last question is what is an ideal customer for you?

So the ideal customer for us is typically an established business already. They’re already doing a little bit of advertising on their own so maybe they’re doing a little bit of Facebook maybe they’re doing a little bit of Google. Typically we also work with national or international brands. So most of the brands that I work with are located in the US Australia UK and Canada. They’re doing their own marketing and they’re looking for an extra revenue stream. With affiliate marketing we can help companies bolster the revenue by 15 to 25 percent through third parties. Without them having to spending money on impressions and stuff like that but guarantee the least guarantee a sale. So businesses that our focus is that they’re focuses is on a call center increasing their email database and nation want other international clients. Those those would be our bread and butter and we can help out in pretty much any type of vertical and any type of industry but it has to be a client who’s already pretty established with their own internal marketing and they’re looking to add on.
