What excites you the most about your industry? What concerns you?

>Although social media has been around since the early 2000’s, it is still something that is relatively new yet growing like wildfire. Platforms like Facebook can be more predictable, yet when new platforms are released each year, the industry gets shaken up. There is always a new shiny toy that comes out (ie right now TikTok is big), and it’s important for business owners to stay on top of the latest trends so they can remain relevant.</span

What is your greatest advice for women leaders in your field?

Just start. Don’t hesitate. Everything you need to succeed lives within. Figure out how to tap into your genius and run with it.

What’s the biggest mistake you see women make in advertising, PR and media?

The followers that you have on your page really want to see you show up authentically on your page. That also means that you’re showing up in a quality way. Look at the content that you’re sharing. Look at the photos, look at the videos. Quality is a huge thing. The next thing is consistency. On Facebook and Instagram, technically you should show up every single day.
