What excites you the most about your industry? What concerns you?
Excited about the growth of “conscious business” platforms. Concerned about any business that does not invest in positioning itself successfully.
What is your greatest advice for women leaders in your field?
From a Rumi poem, “Do not go back to sleep.” Once you awaken to a life of consciousness, as a woman, you’ll be fueled by understanding your purpose and your unique strengths.
What’s the biggest mistake you see women make in advertising, PR, and media?
Being afraid to create their own path instead of following others.

What are your thoughts on purpose when it comes to marketing and how that all factors into a company’s success?
The thought that needs to go into marketing is very much about who you want to attract to your services and how you want to speak to them. That’s why Conscious Communications is the name for my company because I focus solely on the most effective communications whether it is in writing, social media, or whether it is through coaching individuals, one-on-one, to do public speaking.
How do you recommend a company go about taking a stand on social issues?
What I suggest is a model that is based on an organizational format that a variety of conscious capitalism leaders developed. You need to have a higher purpose and then you create a culture around that higher purpose of focusing on good for those that are around you and creating the best life and the best products and the best conversation that you possibly can do. That will include not just your company but your employees as well.
