Virtual agencies will thrive due to low-cost basis.

How did MMELive get started?

We are hitting the 28-year mark. We’ve done 60,000 event activations for about 75 Fortune 1000 brands. I’m a serial entrepreneur. And I designed airstreams for radio stations that were airstream radio diners and a couple of stations. I sold 12 in one year, about $150,000 package, and then we get sponsors and there was a studio on one end and listeners morning show. Fans could be on the other end of the diner, and it was a super success, except stations kept crashing their airstreams. So, I moved away from letting other people drive vehicles and got into the event marketing, mobile marketing business in 1993.

Why is social responsibility in companies so important today?

Well, we see it integral to almost every campaign we develop because we’re very often working with partner agencies or brands directly. They come to us with ideas and, we almost always plant social responsible solution sets into the programs because it’s so important to the consumer. It’s going to get engagement. You want emotional data, and emotional engagement doesn’t happen without being something that’s meaningful to the consumer.
