What is Digisults?
I’ve always done digital marketing and now I’ve evolved into also doing coaching. When I started doing the web sites back in 1996, I realized very early in the game that I was not a web site developer, I was a coach. Once you deliver the web site the business owners have so many questions. This grew into me providing workshops, free trainings and one on ones. That’s how we evolved and that’s our claim to fame. I’ve been helping small business owners transition from traditional marketing into digital marketing.
What do you think are some of the most common misconceptions about people who are transitioning from the more traditional into digital?
Before I started in the Internet, I was a car salesman. I was a very aggressive salesperson, which doesn’t work online. I learned very fast that if you start spamming people and trying to sell to people they block you and they run away. I had to transition and this was the first shift. It’s changed from salesman to educator. When you educate people get close to you for more questions. The more questions you answer, the more trust you develop. People hate salespeople. So we need to educate. The second thing I learned is that nobody lands on your Web site for the first time and immediately buys from you. We need to retarget these individuals and make the come back 2, 3, 4 more times before they purchase from us. You have to design a strategy to retarget them and make them come back because we only buy or do business with entities or people we trust.
