BluHorn has been in the market for nearly ten years.  Our philosophy has always been to provide a buyer or planner with the most efficient and user-friendly experience possible.  We treat our customers like family, and only want the best for our family members.  We understand that there are choices in the market for media buying solutions, and that the software must meet the buyer’s needs in order to be a profitable fit. Because we want the optimal experience for our customers, we offer users some unique advantages in the buying software market.

Project Overview

BluHorn has over a dozen individual initiatives that it is looking to pilot in select markets over the next 12 months. BluHorn plans to retain the services of select firms to execute some of these initiatives based upon their agency or individual skill set and track record of similar projects or clients. The goal, together with our selected partners, is to establish the best practices for entering a new market or vertical, and establishing a brand in that market. We will also focus on new client acquisition, competitive research, and strategic partnerships. 

This RFP process is to identify our partners and launch one or multiple initiatives with their assistance.  After selecting a partner, we will make sure that they understand who we are as a company and how we work prior to assigning out the initiative. After that is complete, we will identify the best project(s) and establish an appropriate budget and expectation based upon the initiative. As we identify the success points, we plan to increase the budgets and utilize your firm to duplicate the efforts in multiple markets or verticals. Through this process, BluHorn intends to create a system of best practices that can be executed in similar markets in the future.  

In the first stage, we want to make sure you understand our software and what BluHorn does from your perspective, not ours.  As a participant in the RFP, you will receive 6 months free access to our BluHorn Basic subscription with digital worksheets access in order to give you the opportunity to utilize our system at no charge.  We are requesting that your team take part in a demo/webinar and go through some basic steps by signing up and gaining knowledge about us and our software solution. Applicants will review the software platform and each team member that you have on the account will get access at no charge as well.  You will be able to submit questions for our team to answer.

The second phase involves assigning the first project/initiative based upon your experience, your team that will be working on the account, and your brief research. Together we will establish and assign a benchmark budget for you to complete that initiative.

 

Initial Project Goals

Each initiative has its individual budget and expectation. After we find the partner agency, we will assign the initiative to start with as well as the allocated budget. 

Select initiatives include but are not limited to:

  1. Establish an appropriate Acquisition Cost of customers based upon the market goals and select verticals.
  2. Increase brand awareness of the BluHorn software in the advertising industry.
  3. Provide a positive brand experience for any potential users and identify any areas of weakness.
  4. Identify areas of weakness based upon competitors in the industry
  5. Identify and manage vendor relationships for the BluHorn Marketplace.
  6. Create branding and messaging for select verticals and create and execute a marketing strategy.

It is our intent to hire multiple firms to focus on the areas that they are best suited for based upon our region and selected initiative for that region.

To reach these goals, BluHorn is now accepting bids in response to this Request for Proposal.
