I think we are just seeing the tip of the ice berg with big data. Each consumer wants personalization and The best way to find that personalization is through data acquisition. With Alexa and Google homes become in every day household items we will seek to personalize more and more.

Why is it important for a business to hire an outside ad agency as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?
And internal marketing director has to wear a lot of hats at any given time during the day. I do not mean this as a slight by any means but it is important to hire an outside agency because we are the professionals and this is what we do on a daily basis. I know the first words out of most agencies mouse are I can buy better than the next guy which who knows if it’s true or not but I know I can buy better than a marketing director just from experience and relationships that I have formed over the years. Which I have learned over the years that the most important part of business is the relationships you make. A good marketing director should facilitate and work very closely with the agency so everyone is on the same page
