If you were to restart your marketing agency, what are the 2 most important positions you would hire for and why?

Every company needs different things and what works in one company doesn’t necessarily work in another. I would do two things the same as I’ve done with Apiary:
Start looking for great talent before I need it: Build relationships early and often.
Hire people who are better than me in every role all the time.

How do you define success?

ROI for Clients and overall Sustainability. Sustainability is defined as maximizing stakeholder value (clients, consultants, the industry at large and Apiary).

What is one tip that you would give a CEO when it comes to marketing?

Understand your customer’s perspective.

What are your three favorite marketing software that you use and why?

Not specifically marketing software, but critical to remote marketing company:
Salesforce, Google Drive, Loom – Essential to remote team success.
