I am a big believer in storytelling because it is such a fundamental form of human communication and resonates better with people. I think that by being human, personal, and authentic and telling a story, it will automatically result in a good CPM and also positively affect the KPIs.

Content is the foundation of all efforts because it’s what everything revolves around.

The greatest advantage of the digital space is the measurability aspect of it. There are a variety of metrics to track and analyze that give you insights about quality and quantity.
What does data-driven marketing mean to you?
It means that you no longer see marketing as a black box approach where you do something and then see the results but have no idea what happened in between and need to make decisions and tweak things out of your gut feeling or guesses. Marketing analytics and the marketing data it provides, allows us to make decisions that are backed up and reflected by the data and thus is much more effective and efficient in regard to time and costs, etc.
You’ve most likely “failed” on your commitment to a client. What did you do about it? Did it make your relationship stronger or break it? On the flip side of that, have you ever “fired” a client?
I am big on client education and set realistic expectations from the beginning. Competition and other factors play a role as well. What’s important is to look at the data and get the right implications from that. I’ve never had to fire a client yet. I think trust is very important.
