About CrowdSurf, LLC.:
CrowdSurf, LLC is a DC Metro-based business specializing in creative and strategic marketing solutions. Since our founding in 2019, our team of bright-minded and creative thinkers has been helping brands find their unique voices.
We map out the specific needs of each client so they can easily connect with their target audience, boost marketing performance, and drive leads.
When it comes to strategy, is it more about the story you tell or your CPM? How does this affect your KPIs either way?
It’s honestly a little bit of both. As an organization, we want to establish an ethos response to what the company’s consumer is experiencing. We create a scenario in which some area of the consumer’s life is lacking and present them with a good or service that will elevate what is lacking in their life, by developing a need the consumer may or may not know they have. I’ve seen KPI’s increase positively as a result of this strategy.
How important is your content/creative to your programmatic efforts?
Content and creation are extremely important to our programmatic efforts.
Volume. What does this mean to you? Is Quality vs. Quantity still measurable in the digital space?
Quality vs. Quantity can still be measured by the type of advertisements used. Anyone can sell t-shirts online, but in order to create rapport with your consumer, you have to be selective with your advertising demographic. For example, a company selling “streetwear” won’t necessarily allocate ad spend in rural areas or focus on consumers under 13 and over 35 years old. A company that markets specifically instead of generally will be able to tailor a set number of advertisements and cut down on unnecessary ad spend that isn’t generating them any income.
What does data-driven marketing mean to you?
To me, data-driven marketing means making strategic decisions about ad spend, placement, and content based on analytics about a company’s audience.
You’ve most likely “failed” on your commitment to a client. What did you do about it? Did it make your relationship stronger or break it? On the flip side of that, have you ever “fired” a client?
I’ve failed at certain things, of course. However, my honesty to my clients of what I am and am not able to do has made our working relationships stronger. I think they respect me a lot more for being so honest and upfront.
